Mandatory Title IX training due by Feb. 23

Southwest Tennessee Community College faculty and staff are required to complete a mandatory Title IX training each year. In an effort to meet this requirement and as part of Southwest’s ongoing compliance efforts, the College has partnered with EverFi to provide this training through the Haven for Faculty and Staff online training course.  Deadline to complete this online course is Friday, February 23, 2018.

Haven for Faculty and Staff is an interactive training module that contains many challenging and interesting real-life situations. The course’s content is updated from year to year to reflect new information and changes in the law and/or Southwest policy. Additionally, this year, EverFi has partnered with the National Domestic Violence Hotline to provide access to an anonymous “Chat with an Advocate” feature within the course.  Just click the “Chat with an Advocate” button at any time during the course to chat online with a trained hotline advocate. Advocates are available daily, 7 a.m. - 2 a.m. Central Standard Time. EverFi will not collect or share with Southwest any identifiable information of learners using the chat feature.

Follow the link and log-in instructions below to access the Title IX training. The most compatible internet browsers to use for this training are Chrome and Firefox.
