Amanda Prewitt, Student Disability Services Coordinator

Welcome to Amanda Prewitt, the Division of Student Affairs’ new program coordinator of student disability services (SDS). Ms. Prewitt will promote equitable access for students and disability-inclusive diversity among students, faculty, and staff. She is excited to be a part of a college committed to upholding the Americans with Disabilities Act and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Prewitt received a B.A. in psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and is currently in her final year of graduate school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is pursuing her M.Ed. in human development counseling.  She spent the last four years working with youth in both the mental health and education fields as a behavioral youth counselor and teacher.
