Online advising is designed to assist you, the student in meeting your educational goals here at Southwest. We are committed to helping all students select classes and degree plans which will put you on the path to success. Online advising is designed for students who are participating in our online programs or students who do not live close to any campus.
All emails will be answered in a timely fashion but delays will occur on weekends and holidays. Responses may be slowed during our busier registration periods.
Please keep these guidelines in mind when using online advising. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), advisors cannot give out personal information such as:
- social security numbers
- financial aid information
When requesting Online Advising please try to identify yourself using your Student ID number (if known) or Southwest email address. To get started with Online Advising complete and submit the Online Advising Request data form.
