Tennessee Promise

Student Selection Process

Registration Information

Individuals interested in becoming a GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) student must complete applications for both Southwest and GM ASEP.

Once the applications are completed and assessment testing administered, the ASEP Coordinator will screen the applicant in preparation for the dealer/student interviews.

Students who have completed all requirements for entry into ASEP will be contacted by an ASEP Coordinator and provided a list of dealers who have agreed to sponsor the student. Prospective ASEP students are to contact the GM Dealers on the list and arrange for an interview. Students are required to contact the ASEP Coordinator when they are offered and accept a sponsorship.
