18-I-13: Paralegal Intern (Henderson, TN)

We are seeking a paralegal intern for Fall semester 2018 if you have anyone looking for experience. We traditionally run the internship from the beginning of the semester to the last day of classes for the semester (unless they secure employment first).

We provide a casual dress (read: jeans), laid back but hard-working environment with free parking, coffee (Keurig), and soft drinks. There is a lot of paralegal project work but never anything that interns can’t ask questions. There will be opportunities to draft discovery responses, simple motions, prepare/send correspondence, but typically no receptionist duties. We would request a working knowledge of MS Office software, how to use a copier, scanner, and fax but can train quickly if needed.

We primarily do (plaintiffs’) medical malpractice and medical product liability including pharmaceutical cases but occasionally will have traumatic injury cases and traumatic MVAs.

Note: We provide a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship that lists what the intern did during their internship and we keep a checklist of all the skills and tasks they learn over the semester.

Applying Instructions: Resumes should be sent to michele@kellyfirm.net and ginger@kellyfirm.net. Ginger Cox is the intern coordinator.
