Julia Rhea, Mental Health Counselor

Julia Rhea

Greetings Saluqis! I'm Julia Rhea, the mental health counselor at Southwest Tennessee Community College. I'm here to help with any mental health concerns you may be experiencing. For a lot of students, college is a tough time, filled with jam-packed schedules as well as outside pressures that may weigh on you. My job is to assist you while you travel through your academic journey. Counseling services at Southwest are free for all students.

Counseling is available at the Union Avenue Campus on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the Macon Cove Campus on Tuesdays and Fridays; and at our centers by appointment. Faculty or staff who wish to refer a student for counseling services should submit a referral form. Students who wish to make a counseling appointment should contact Julia Rhea at 901-333-5121, or jrhea@southwest.tn.edu.
