Student Teacher Education Association (STEA)

Student Teacher Education Association (STEA) is a student organization for students who intend to be Pre-K, elementary or high school teachers. STEA actively advocates learning without limits. The core values are community, effectiveness, independence, justice, relevancy, success, unity, and the worth and dignity of individuals. At Southwest, STEA members have opportunities to plan and participate in activities centered on the core values, as well as participate in Praxis I workshops.
