Caki Wilkinson

Caki Wilkinson is the author of the poetry collections Circles Where the Head Should Be (2011), which won the Vassar Miller Prize, and The Wynona Stone Poems (2015), which won the Lexi Rudnitsky Editor's Choice Award from Persea Books. Wilkinson is the recipient of fellowships and awards from the Ruth Lilly Foundation, the Tennessee Arts Commission, and the Robert Frost Farm. Born and raised in middle and east Tennessee, she has lived in Memphis since 2012 and teaches in the English Department at Rhodes College.

Workshop

Wilkinson will conduct a poetry workshop Thursday, September 28, from 10:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. Space is limited to eight participants with preference given to students. If you would like to participate please submit an electronic copy of your manuscript of 10 pages or less to Jerome Wilson at wjwilson2@southwest.tn.edu no later than no later than Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
