The University of Memphis, in partnership with Southwest, will host a reception and talkscreening of the documentary, Apollo 11, in the University Center at the University of Memphis, July 16, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Southwest's Associate Professor of Mathematics and former NASA Flight Controller Bill Weppner (Apollo missions 7-13) will share his Apollo 11 memories and introduce the Apollo 11 film. Weppner also will conduct a Q&A session after the showing of the film.

Apollo 11 contains never-before-seen footage and audio recordings that document NASA's most famous mission with astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins embarking on their historic voyage to the moon.

6:00 p.m. - Bill Weppner, Flight Controller for Apollo 7 - 13, shares memories and introduces film
6:45 p.m. - Screening of Apollo 11 documentary (90 min)
