Summer Registration Set at Southwest Tennessee Community College
Summer Registration for the 2001 Summer Semester at the two main campuses of Southwest Tennessee Community College is set for 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 23. Late registration will be 9 a.m. -6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, and from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday, May 25. Registration at the Macon Cove Campus, 5983 Macon Cove, will be held in the Farris Building. The Union Avenue Campus, 737 Union Avenue, will register students in B-Building, 116. Classes for the Summer I Semester begin Friday, May 25, and the Summer II classes get underway Friday, July 6. Students who plan to attend STCC for Summer II are encouraged to register during the Summer I registration period.
In addition to the two main campuses, on-site registration will be held at the following centers: Millington, Naval Support Activity, Building 241, Thursday, May 17, 2-6 p.m.; Whitehaven, 3851 Neely Road, Noon-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22; Fayette County Career Center, 13520 Highway 59 West, Somerville, Tennessee, Wednesday, May 23, 9 a.m.-6:30; Gill Center, 3833 Mountain Terrace, Wednesday, May 23, 9 a.m. -6:30 p.m.; and the Southeast Center, 5396 Mendenhall Square Mall, Wednesday, May 23, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Current students must first see their advisers before registering. Transient students must complete the admission process, have documentation of course prerequisites, and have a copy of their college transcript. Individuals interested in attending STCC should contact the Admissions and Records Office. That number is 333-4194 at the Macon Cove Campus, and 333-5924 at the Union Avenue Campus.
All fees for summer registration must be paid in full by 4 p.m., Friday, May 25. Students who expect their fees to be paid by financial aid or another source of special funding must make sure that all requirements have been completed to receive the expected funding. Fees can be paid on-campus by cash, money order, personal check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
