Former Bolivar Central High School player, Olajuwan Kemp, will join
local standouts Stanley McNeil (Treadwell High School), Ervin Herron
(Lighthouse Christian Academy) and David Evans (Oakhaven High School) on
the 2006-2007 Saluqis’ team.
As a senior in 2005, the 6’8” Kemp helped lead Bolivar Central to a 29-5

A 6’1” guard, McNeil averaged 13.5 points per game as a senior for
Treadwell High and was named to the All-District 15AA team. He scored 20
more points in seven games including a season-high 28 against Hamilton.
Herron, a two-time member of The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps

Herron was named the Millington Star’s Player of the Year and scored a
career-high 50 points against Macon Road.
Evans, a 6’8” post player, helped lead Oakhaven to a 19-9 record and
District 16AA runner-up his senior year. He averaged seven points per
