BREWER SIGNS WITH LADY SALUQIS

Alyse Brewer of Florence (AL) High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Southwest. Brewer, a catcher-infielder, was named to the Florence Times-Daily 4A-6A All-Area team as a senior and received the team award for Top Offensive Player. She is the fourth Lady Saluqis’ signee for the 2006-2007 season.

Brewer played for Coach Brian Shollenberger at Florence High and led the Falcons this spring with a .373 batting average, 60 hits, 12 doubles, 24 runs batted in, a .464 on-base average, a .453 slugging average, and a .985 fielding average.
