Dance Works “Open House Performance”, in its’ nineteenth year, will feature: “Cooking Session”, by guest choreographer Mathew Keefe (Minneapolis, MN.), accompanied by musicians Tony Thomas (keyboard) and Scott Thompson (trumpet) on May 12 at 7 p.m. This work reflects high speed dancing in a kitchen cooking with an inspector checking in on the cooks!

Local choreographer, Sandra Baldwin, restages for Dance Works two very classical ballet works to a Chopin waltz and Mazurka from “Les Sylphides”, accompanied by pianist Lyn Joyner. Artistic Director Karen J. Zissoff choreographs to “Bach’s - Sarabandes”, using Bach’s English and French Suites. This work reflects a contemporary style of modern dancer/choreographer Doris Humphrey, accompanied by pianist Lyn Joyner.
