Marus Appointed Tennessee Representative for NCMPR

Elisa C. Marus, executive director of Community Relations, at Southwest Tennessee Community College was appointed the Tennessee Representative for the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at its 32nd Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. As state representative, Ms. Marus will provide leadership in establishing and maintaining NCMPR membership services in Tennessee, and represent the state’s initiatives and interests at the District 2 Executive Council. This appointment is a one-year term. NCMPR is the only national organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and PR professionals at community, technical and junior colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR today has more than 1,550 members from more than 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and Bahamas.
