ENTREPRENEUR TRAINING OFFERED
Memphis, TN- Despite passion, drive and an abundance of good ideas, half
of all new businesses fail within the first few years. Often that’s
because, despite their zeal, entrepreneurs lack the experience and tools
required for starting and running a business.
The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) and
alt.Consulting are co-sponsoring FastTrac® GrowthVenture, a 10 week
entrepreneurial training course. Classes will begin March 9, 2007.
The TSBDC specializes in providing business and financial planning,
market analysis and business management training to help small
businesses compete in an ever competitive and complex global business
environment.
alt.Consulting focuses on providing businesses with on-site intensive
one-on-one management skills training customized to each individual
business’s needs.
The FastTrac® sessions include facilitated discussions and activities,
networking, small peer groups, a guest speaker and coaching sessions.
Participants work on their own business ventures throughout the program.
More than 165,000 entrepreneurs have participated in FastTrac®. FastTrac®
is a program of the Kansas City-based Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation,
the largest organization in the nation solely focused on entrepreneurial
success at all levels.
