NJCAA RULES SHIELDS’ 65 POINTS BREAKS NATIONAL RECORD
Release written by Keith Gentry
The National Junior College Athletic Association has ruled that Ashley
Shields’ 65 point performance against Cleveland State in the
quarterfinals of the TJCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament last week is a
NJCAA record for most points in a game. The 65 points breaks the
previous record of 57 set by Heather Baker of Allen County Community
College during the 1997-98 season.
