LADY SALUQIS CLIMB TO SIXTH IN NJCAA

The undefeated Southwest women’s basketball team moved up one spot to number six in this week’s National Junior College Athletic Association Division 1 Poll. The Lady Saluqis, now 13-0 on the season, have ten games remaining in the regular season – two against each of the Western Division members of the Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association.

The Lady Saluqis are 6-0 in the TJCCAA and return to conference play on Wednesday, January 23 on the road against Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee. The next home game for Southwest is against Jackson State Community College on Saturday, January 26, at the Verties Sails Gymnasium.
