For Immediate Release Dominique Johnson, a sophomore guard from Detroit, was selected the Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association Player-of-the-Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Johnson led the Saluqis in scoring (17.6), three-point field goals (69), three-point field goal percentage (.406), and steals (66), and was also among team leaders in free throw percentage (.827). He scored a career-high 34 points against Chattanooga State. A.J. Nance was also named to the All-TJCCAA and All-Western Division teams. Nance, a sophomore from Marion, Arkansas, averaged 17.3 points per game and led the Saluqis in free throw percentage (.839).
