Grow Your Business "Now" Workshop

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Southwest Tennessee Community College is hosting a workshop to help small business owners grow their business.  The "Grow Your Business 'Now' Workshop" will be held on June 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Memphis Public Library, Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN.

One of the biggest complaints voiced by small business owners is that they want to market their business but don't know what to do. In this 90 minute workshop you will learn: The SRO Formula and the AM/PM Questions; How to Create Your Ideal Week and Start Having More Time; Why You Should Start thinking in Terms of Every 30 Days; What to do with your Database; The Best Way to Follow-Up, and How to Use the Storm Starter Strategy- this one strategy can change your business in a matter of days, and more.

The workshop will be facilitated by "The Small Business Coach," Robert Staub. An entrepreneur since age 9, Staub knows the pros and cons of running a small business. In his mid 20's, he owned a small chain of luncheon deli restaurants in Columbus, Ohio. Then in his 30's he was part of the Internet explosion in Memphis, TN and was instrumental in operating and evolving Internet-related businesses. Staub is currently part of the Small Business Success Coaching Network. He works with small business owners who want to grow their businesses and become more focused and productive on a daily basis. He founded the Small Business Chamber in 2004, Tennessee Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, and recently sat on the SBA National Advisory Board and the MemphisED Advisory Board. He hosted "The Small Biz Show" which aired on KWAM 990- talk radio from 2008 to 2010 and launched the social media community for small business owners, SmallBizMemphis.com. Staub and Donna, his wife of 18 years, have 3 sons, ages 15, 12 and 8.
