Do I have to reapply for financial aid each year?
Yes, you must reapply for financial aid each academic year. The academic year begins with the fall term. Federal requirements and your financial situation may change each year; therefore, you must reapply each year. It is important that you and your family keep copies of tax returns and any other income information.
Information on income for the prior year will be used when the financial aid application is completed. If you misplaced copies of your tax return you may call the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at 1-800-TAX-1040 and ask for " Tax Account Information." There is no charge for this service and you should receive the information in less than 15 days.
