The Fire Science Program is designed with the intent to provide a course set up to meet the unique lifestyle of the firefighter and assist those set goals of achieving a Fire Science Associates Degree. One who obtains a Fire Science Degree at Southwest can fit into the University of Memphis Bachelor’s Degree for Fire Prevention or BS Degree for Fire Administration. The courses offered within the Fire Science Curriculum is recognized and reviewed in most Fire Services in which case only enhances career goals and promotional opportunities.
It is a vital point to make that courses taken at the National Fire Academy are reviewed and at times taken for review for course substitution.
