The Computer Engineering Technology program focuses on the theory and application of computer hardware and software. Students in this program study electric circuits analysis, digital circuits design and analysis, electronic devices, C++ programming, microprocessor/microcontroller programming and interfacing, digital communication, and computer networks. The objective of this program is to prepare computer engineering technicians to pursue careers in the areas of design, fabrication, and maintenance of all digital systems. Graduates are employed in areas such as hardware/software development and testing, digital systems design, computer network installation and maintenance, and computer systems installation and maintenance.
