Transfer Student

To start the process of applying for the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship (TELS) also known as the HOPE Lottery Scholarship, all transfer students to Southwest must:

1. Complete an online admissions application for admission to Southwest.
2. Request an official high school transcript with ACT^® scores be sent from your high school to Southwest at the following address:

3. Complete the Federal Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). If you have already completed the FAFSA but did not include Southwest as a listed school, follow the directions at Adding Southwest to Your FAFSA.
4. Request official transcripts from all Colleges previously attended be sent to:
