Software Offerings

Information Technology Services offers many applications to faculty, staff and students through our annual site licenses.

MICROSOFT LICENSING

Southwest owns multiple site licenses that provide access to a range of software product. The standard Operating system and Microsoft Office suite is Windows 7 SP1 and Microsoft Office 2010. We are currently offering Microsoft Office 2013 in select computer labs.

MICROSOFT OFFICE 365

Office 365 offers students and faculty access to the latest Microsoft Office suite, through Office Online or by download. The below link provides access to Microsoft Office by using any standard browser or downloading the software suite to any personal computer or mobile device.

Please note that users should not install Office 365 on your work computers. The installation of Office 365 is reserved for personally owned devices only. Office Online is available to access on work computers.

ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD

Information Technology Services is pleased to announce that all faculty and staff now have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. Our annual subscription provides all college owned computers access to Adobe, including Acrobat Pro on a select amount of devices. Students currently have access to the Adobe suite by visiting select computers labs. Faculty and Staff can request access by completing a Software Request. Students and faculty may purchase access to Adobe for their personal computers by visiting the Software @ Home page.

AUTOCAD

Engineering currently offers Autocad in select computer labs. Faculty looking to get access to the most recent Autocad software suite can do so by submitting a ticket.
