The Southwest Tennessee Community College Foundation offers a scholarship website so students can apply for scholarships when gap funding is necessary to continue or complete their education. This funding is made available to assist students with persisting toward their educational goals.
The Foundation Supplemental Scholarship is supported by donor contributions and was created for students who are performing well academically but face a financial burden after exhausting all available FAFSA funding. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time degree-seeking student at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Students from all Southwest campuses and sites are welcome to apply each term.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to receive the scholarship. Preference will be given to students who exceed the GPA requirement (greater than 2.0), have an unmet financial need, and an EFC of less than $10,000. Awards will be based upon enrollment status and available donor contributions. Funding is not guaranteed, and applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. Students must reapply each semester to be considered for the Foundation Supplemental Application Scholarship.
