Southwest opens new laptop loan program portal

Students who don’t have a laptop can now apply for a device through the My.Southwest portal. Registered full time and part-time students are eligible to borrow devices for the semester.

Devices will be loaned out on a first-come, first served basis. Preference will be given to full-time students who have completed a financial aid packet.

Applying for a laptop is easy. You can do it from your mobile phone! Go to My.Southwest dashboard and click on the Laptop Loan Program icon.  Fill out the form completely and choose your pickup location. Students will receive a confirmation and appointment to pick up their device Aug. 17-21 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at one of the following Southwest locations:

MONDAY, AUGUST 17
Whitehaven Center

TUESDAY, AUGUST 18
Maxine Smith Center

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19
Macon Cove Campus

THURSDAY, AUGUST 20
Union Avenue Campus - Allied Health Building Parking Lot

FRIDAY, August 21
Macon Cove Campus

Students picking up devices must go through the campus access protocol and show ID when picking up the device. Online health assessment, body temperature scan and face covering are required at pickup time.
