Shelby County Health Department to Close the COVID-19 Vaccination Site at Whitehaven Center Thursday, Feb. 11 for Inclement Weather; Appointments rescheduled to Feb. 18

The Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) announced that the COVID-19 Vaccination Site at the Whitehaven Center will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 11 due to the inclement weather forecast and threat of hazardous driving conditions. The following other vaccination locations will be closed also:
- Pipkin Building – 940 Early Maxwell Road, Memphis, TN 38104
- Germantown Baptist Church – 9450 Poplar Avenue, Germantown, TN 38139
- CSFP Warehouse - 1020 South Bellevue 38106
SCHD will reschedule all appointments scheduled for Thursday, February 11 for the same time on Thursday, February 18. SCHD will email those with Thursday appointments to notify them of the change. There is no need to reschedule appointments.
SCHD will make decisions regarding vaccine operations on a day-to-day basis during inclement weather. A decision regarding Friday’s appointments will be made on Thursday afternoon.
