Select spaces in the Macon Cove Campus Academic Building CLOSE for sanitationSouthwest has closed Rooms A-109 and A-116 in Academic Building A on the Macon Cove Campus for sanitation in accordance with safety guidelines outlined in the Back to Campus Plan. The spaces reopen Monday, Oct. 26.

Students should contact instructors for instructions regarding an alternate class meeting location.

The Shelby County Health Department has recommended only closing the areas identified as visited by individuals who self-reported. Other areas of the building remain open for operations while the College performs sanitation in the affected areas in accordance with Back to Campus Plan guidelines and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention standards.

All Southwest students, employees and visitors who test positive for covid-19 are encouraged to self-report online on the coronavirus section of the Southwest website. The form only takes a few minutes to complete and all information is kept strictly confidential.
