Southwest Head Women's Basketball Coach Andrea Martre has announced the signing of nine student-athletes to national letters of intent for the 2015-16 season:
- Taylor Argue, guard/post player from Natchez High School in Natchez, Mississippi, helped lead her team to a 24-1 record her senior season and their second straight MHSAA Class 5A state championship.
- Alona Brown, a guard from Earle High School in Earle, Arkansas, averaged 14.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior. She was named to the All-County and All-Conference teams.
- Jazmine Burgan, a guard/forward from Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia, was named to the All-Region 2AAA team, honorable mention Telegraph All-Middle Georgia, and played in the Middle Georgia All-Star Game.
- Chayla Johnson, a point guard from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas, was a four-year letterwinner who led her team to the Class 6A state tournament semifinals as a senior.
- Jerrica Johnson, a guard/forward from Douglass High School, averaged 10.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a senior. She led her team to a 20-9 record and was named to the All-District 16AA team.
- Miah Kimbrough, a guard/forward from Nettleton High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas, played in the Jonesboro Sun Senior Classic and was also all-state in track.
- Tatiana Love, point guard from Bartlett, Tennessee, and Briarcrest Christian School, helped lead her team to the Division 2AA state runnerup her senior season. In her four-year high school career, Briarcrest had a 103-13 record and advanced to the Division 2AA final four every year.
- Victoria Middlebrooks, a post player from Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia, averaged 8.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game as a senior and was named honorable mention All-Region 4AAAA.
- Asia Ragland, a post player from Glencliff High School in Nashville, Tennessee, was named to the Nashville Prep Basketball Coaches Class AAA All-Metro Team as a senior.
