Sue Malone, the SBA's number one volume-based loan provider and founder of "Strategies for Small Businesses" in San Francisco, CA, will facilitate an Access to Capital Workshop on March 11 at the Renaissance Business Center located at 555 Beale Street. Malone will discuss several debt and equity funding options available now for startup and existing businesses.
"Sue really has a niche for doing small business loans, particularly those for $25,000 and under. Now she has developed several platforms to help businesses obtain equity financing through crowdfunding, direct access to investors and the Big Pitch Radio Show that she co-hosts. Great opportunity for anyone seeking to get their business off the ground," said Rory Thomas, executive director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
The workshop, hosted by TSBDC and the SBA, will be held from 8:30-10:30 am and 5:30-7:30 pm. At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees can have a loan application ready to submit.
The general public is invited. For more information, contact Rory Thomas via email at rthomas@tsbdc.org or call 901- 333-5085.
