Stennis, who came to Southwest from Lexington, Kentucky, was a third team All-American selection after garnering honorable mention honors as a freshman last season. Stennis, the 2015-16 TCCAA Player of the Year, was voted first team All-TCCAA in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. She led the conference and ranked in the top ten nationally this season with an average of 20.3 points per game and also led the Lady Saluqis in free throw percentage (.759) and steals (2.1 per game). In addition, Stennis scored 1,021 points in her Southwest career, making her just the sixth 1,000 point scorer in the program's history.

Rivers, a Clarksville, Tennessee native and University of Memphis signee, was named honorable mention All-American after leading the Saluqis to the TCCAA championship and an "Elite Eight" finish in this year's NJCAA National Tournament. A two-time first team All-TCCAA selection, Rivers was the team's second leading scorer this season with a 12.5 average and led the team with 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots per game.
