Key and Middlebrooks Named First Team All-TCCAA, Three Others Voted to Second Team

Five members of Southwest Tennessee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams were voted by the conference's coaches to the All-TCCAA team including two first team selections.

Sophomore Brandon Key, the starting point guard for the Saluqis the past two seasons, was named first team All-TCCAA while sophomore guard Julian Daughtry and freshman guard Zavian Jackson were second team selections. Key, who has committed to South Dakota State University, averaged 12.2 points per game this season and led the team with 7.3 assists per game. Daughtry led the Saluqis in scoring with an average of 12.6 points per game and a 42.0 three-point percentage while Jackson averaged 11.8 points per game and led the team with a 51.9 field goal percentage.

For the Lady Saluqis, sophomore forward Victoria Middlebrooks was voted first team All-TCCAA while freshman guard Atitiana Vincent was a second team pick. Middlebrooks averaged 11.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals and led the team with 1.5 blocks per game. Vincent, the Lady Saluqis' leading scorer with an 11.6 average, also led the team with an 80.3 free throw percentage and 2.6 steals per game.
