(MEMPHIS, Tenn.) — The MVP3 Foundation is proud to announce the unveiling of the powerful new public mural titled “Three Generations” on September 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. CST in Memphis, Tennessee. The event will be live-streamed on the MVP3 Network and marks a milestone in community healing, artistic empowerment, and media integrity. The mural is a bold tribute to legacy, fatherhood, and the power of storytelling across generations.
The mural, created by Cameron Hill, a Memphis native, artist, and educator whose work profoundly encapsulates the essence of the message, highlighting its significance with exceptional detail, has been sponsored by the MVP3 Foundation, the City of Memphis, Councilman Edmund Ford, Sr., with additional support provided by Hyatt Place Memphis Germantown, and other supporters to be announced.
Marie Pizano, founder and President of the MVP3 Foundation, said, "We're honored to host this ceremony, recognizing a profound art piece that highlights the impact of legacy and the vital role fathers play in the lives of families and communities. This event is dedicated to my late friend John Amos, known as 'America's Dad,' and supports our mission to inspire hope and healing through the arts while honoring John Amos' wishes and legacy."
As part of the event, Robrecus “Rico” Parker, a Southwest Tennessee Community College student, will be awarded the second MVP3 John Amos Grant, presented in honor of the late, great John Amos. This grant recognizes a student who embodies media integrity and purpose, furthering John's legacy of mentoring and uplifting future storytellers with heart and truth.
Special acknowledgments include a Proclamation from the City of Memphis, spearheaded by Councilman Ford, Sr., and a proclamation accompanied by a county key from the Shelby County Commissioners, presented by Commissioner Ford, Jr.
To further pay tribute to and augment the message, the mural and the mission will be showcased in a Times Square digital campaign from September 15–20, highlighting motivating empowerment, the MVP3 Network, and the foundation's ongoing efforts to transform heartbreak into healing through creative expression.
