Geisewite named associate dean of faculty support
The Faculty Support Division named Ashley Geisewite as the new associate dean of Faculty Support Dec. 1. As associate dean, Geisewite will provide leadership to supporting each of the College’s sites and centers and to developing evening, weekend and accelerated academic program offerings.
Geisewite has worked in higher education for over twenty years. After serving three semesters as a Southwest adjunct professor, she joined the faculty full-time teaching banking and finance, drawing on the expertise and knowledge she acquired while working at Trustmark National Bank as a senior financial credit analyst. During her tenure with the College, she has also served as department chair and program coordinator for the Business Department, continued her education in Economics and Management and remained involved in various College initiatives.
Gaisewite earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. When she is not working, you may find her cheering for her Ole Miss Rebels, playing tennis with friends and spending time with her three adult children.
