Nicholas Howze promoted to Financial Aid associate director
Congratulations to Nicholas Howze on his promotion to associate director of Financial Aid. Howze has served as a financial aid specialist and Tennessee Reconnect program lead in the department for the past three years and prior to that worked for several years in financial aid for private and public colleges.
As a native Memphian and proud Southwest graduate, Howze says it feels great to have his hard work and dedication pay off. “It’s truly an honor to be granted this opportunity,” he said. “I am grateful to be a part of such a dynamic leadership team.” Howze also looks forward to his new responsibilities. “I hope to continue our current stance on clearing a path for student success and look forward to accomplishing the goals of equipping my team members with the tools needed to service and assist our students with the upmost care and integrity.”
Financial Aid Director Elizabeth Romagni is excited to welcome Howze to the leadership team. “His skills in handling caseloads and the Reconnect program have proven to me that he is more than prepared for the tasks ahead.”
Congratulations, Nicholas!
