Don’t miss Summer Institute 2018
Southwest presents its 16th annual Summer Institute June 20-22, 2018, on the Macon Cove Campus.
Summer Institute is a great time for faculty and staff to learn new ways to help Southwest students succeed. Participants will receive information about what's happening in different areas of the College, attend sessions for personal and professional growth, and take some classes that are just plain fun!
This year’s conference theme is Equity, Access, & Support: Elevate Student Achievement. Participants will enjoy three training tracks: teaching excellence, professional development and health and well-being.
Sessions will take place in the mornings and afternoons Wednesday and Thursday and the morning only, Friday, June 22.
Review institute itinerary and register through the Distance Education site. The institute itinerary will debut in the coming weeks.
For more information, email summer.institute@southwest.tn.edu or call Teaching Academy Director Dr. Jennifer Townes at 901-333-4711.
