Welcome aboard, Darryl Hill
Marketing and Communications Director
Communications, Marketing & Community Relations is pleased to welcome Darryl Hill as the new director of marketing and communications. In this role, Hill will lead and implement integrated marketing and communication plans for Southwest and serve as the primary contact for the College’s marketing initiatives.
He has a solid history of developing and directing strategic marketing plans and evaluating analytics and branding initiatives. Prior to Southwest, Hill served as the social media marketing manager for ServiceMaster and senior marketing specialist for FedEx. Hill obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and is a proud graduate of The University of Memphis where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
When not working at the college, Hill enjoys traveling with his family, especially to such tropical destinations as Jamaica and Cancun. He is an avid University of Memphis Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys playing golf.
