Welcome aboard, Aquila Phillips Executive Administrative Assistant to President Tracy D. Hall
Aquila Phillips joined the Southwest Tennessee Community College family Jan. 16 as President Tracy D. Hall’s new executive administrative assistant. She manages the president’s calendar and works closely with the president to ensure her day goes smoothly.
A 7-year higher education veteran, Ms. Phillips worked as a financial coordinator in the Office of the Chancellor & Executive Vice Chancellor for University of Tennessee Health Science Center just prior to her arrival at Southwest. She also has more than 10 years of experience in business and project management.
Phillips earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Liberty University and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration there. Recently accepted to Liberty’s School of Law, Phillips will pursue a Juris Master beginning next year to expand her knowledge of business and contractual law.
Phillips is a native Virginian who is passionate about real-estate investing. “I can talk about it all day,” she says. She and her husband, Kendrick, have a two-year-old son, Noah, and a 2-month-old daughter, Grace (affectionately called Gracie).
