Southwest welcomes new director of Admissions & Recruitment

Annie Moss joined the Southwest family as director for Admissions & Recruitment June 18.  She brings more than 12 years of leadership experience in admissions and recruitment to the position. She previously served as admissions and recruitment director for Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) and Grambling State University. Moss also served as a consultant for Ellucian where she helped colleges and universities implement the Banner Student system. 

Moss’ past accomplishments include record enrollment for four consecutive semesters and a 600 percent increase in international student enrollment at SUSLA. She attributes her success to her supervisory skills and her ability to motivate staff, make data-driven decisions, and provide exemplary customer service while demonstrating a “genuine passion” for the overall success of the students she serves.
