Donate to TBR holiday food drive
Nov. 20 – Dec. 10
Donate at the President’s Annual Holiday Open House Dec. 5 to be entered into prize drawings for a 55-inch TV and more.
Tennessee Board of Regents has launched a holiday food drive to feed the hungry in Tennessee. The TBR institution with the most donations will be recognized as No. 1 in the state.
Let’s be No. 1!
More than 400,000 people are food insecure in the Mid-South. Therefore, your Southwest donations will go to the Mid-South Food Bank to feed the need right here in Memphis and Shelby County. Drop your non-perishable food items in the decorated food collection boxes Nov. 20 – Dec. 10 at the Macon Cove and Union Avenue campuses.
Or, bring your donation to the President’s Annual Holiday Open House December 5 from 3–4:30 p.m. on the Macon Cove Campus, Farris Building – Rooms AB&C. Those who bring their donations to the party will receive a ticket for each item donated to be entered into prize drawings for a 55-inch flat-screen TV, two tablets, and more.
Contact Judy Schedneck at jaschedneck@southwest.tn.edu for more information.
