$500,000 Grant Awarded to Revitalize Theater and Recording Studio

Southwest Tennessee Community College is the perfect choice for individuals aspiring to become production professionals in the theater and recording industry. Southwest received a $500,000 grant award from The Assisi Foundation of Memphis for the Southwest Entertainment Production Initiative, a project to revitalize the Communication, Graphic, and Fine Arts Department, fully renovate the theatre, and build a state-of-the-art music recording studio at the Union Avenue Campus.
