This generous award—the largest scholarship announced at the Memphis True Blue Counselor’s Luncheon—was presented by Dr. Sidney A. McPhee, president of MTSU.

The scholarship funds may be awarded as a single $5,000 award or divided into five $1,000 scholarships, expanding opportunities for multiple students to benefit.

The luncheon was a wonderful opportunity to connect with MTSU leaders, strengthen transfer pathways, and celebrate the success of our students.

Southwest will host MTSU Transfer Day in February, where students can:

  • Complete admission applications
  • Meet directly with MTSU representatives
  • Learn more about transfer pathways
  • Qualify for transfer scholarships

Southwest is grateful for this partnership with MTSU and looks forward to seeing students continue their academic journeys.
