TN eCampus Admission
If you have previously attended either Shelby State Community College, State Technical
Institute at Memphis or Southwest Tennessee Community College and you have not been
enrolled for at least one regular semester (fall or spring), you must submit a completed
Admissions Application. The admission application fee is not required for returning
students. Additionally, you must make sure that we have your high school and college
transcripts. Any outstanding debt owed to the college must be cleared, as well as
registration holds*. Admission Application
- Have a copy of your official high school transcript or equivalent mailed to the Southwest Admissions and Records Office.
- Have official copies of your college transcript(s) from any institution previously attended mailed to the Southwest Admissions and Records Office.
- Submit your official test scores from ACT (American College Test), SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) within the last five [5] years or transferrable college credit(s) earned at another institution via an official transcript(s). If neither of the above items are available, then you will need to schedule the ACT Residual or ACCUPLACER®placement test through Testing.
- Southwest adheres to all Immigration Service regulations in the admission, enrollment and readmission of foreign non-immigrant applicants. For additional requirements of foreign students, please see Section II, A, Number 3 A-G of the detailed general admission policy.
