Our financial aid counselors can help you find ways to pay for college and apply for aid. Many types of financial aid are offered, including federal, state and private. Federal financial aid can only be used for courses taken in your chosen program of study. Learn more about the Course Program of Study (CPoS) requirement.

Steps in the Aid Process
Apply for admission and be admitted as a degree-seeking Southwest student.
Complete the FAFSA online. The Southwest FAFSA School Code is 010439. Be sure to meet the financial aid deadlines.
Submit requested financial aid documents to Southwest at Financial Aid Documentation Upload Page. The Financial Aid Office will inform you if these documents are required.
You will receive an award notification after all documents are complete.
Federal aid and scholarships will be disbursed and applied to your student account to cover tuition and fees.
Chat online with a financial aid counselor via a Microsoft Teams video meeting Mondays and Wednesdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m; Fridays 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
