No, Southwest Reconnect does not cover the cost of textbooks.

Yes, Southwest Reconnect will cover the tuition of the course(s) but does not cover the additional RODP fee.

No, only students who have been Tennessee residents for at least a year will be eligible.

In order to determine your eligibility, official transcripts from previous institutions must be received. If you owe a debt to a previous institution(s), and it is preventing you from obtaining your official transcripts, you must resolve your debt at that institution(s) for release of your official transcripts.

You would not be eligible for TN Reconnect if you are in default status. However, you can contact the Department of Education at 1-800-621-3115 to get information about options which could clear the default status from your record. Once you are cleared you could be eligible.

Yes. Adult students currently enrolled at Southwest and meet all criteria for Reconnect Now will be eligible to receive the last-dollar scholarship. You will need to complete the FAFSA by the deadline.
