Welcome from President Dr. Tracy D. Hall

Dr. Tracy HallOn behalf of the entire Southwest Tennessee Community College family, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our Union Avenue Campus for the 2025 TCCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments! We are thrilled to bring the energy and spirit of March Madness to Memphis and the surrounding area.

It has been 10 years since Southwest hosted these prestigious tournaments, and we are honored to have the opportunity to welcome you back. We are proud to be a part of an organization like the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA), which has provided countless opportunities for student-athletes to achieve their goals, both on and off the court.

Special thanks to Mike Campbell, TCCAA Assistant Commissioner, and Dr. Chris Whaley, TCCAA President, for your outstanding leadership and dedication to athletic programs across the state. The TCCAA has truly been instrumental in helping thousands of student-athletes enroll, excel, graduate and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our Athletic Director, Coach Jarrett Stephens, for his dedication and the incredible work he has done in organizing this event. Thank you to all the athletic directors, coaches, managers and volunteers who have invested so much in these student-athletes.

We are committed to making your stay both enjoyable and memorable. Our city’s renowned hospitality, incredible dining, and vibrant culture make it a truly unique destination. Be sure to take in some of what Memphis has to offer—whether it’s a stroll down historic Beale Street or enjoying some of the world’s best barbecue!

Finally, to the players, families, and fans—we are thrilled to have you here and hope you enjoy your time at the tournaments. We are confident you’ll experience firsthand what makes both Southwest and Memphis so special.

Best wishes for exciting, competitive, and unforgettable tournaments!
