Southwest welcomes LeVetta Hudson as vice president of People & Culture

LeVetta Hudson joined Southwest as the new vice president of People & Culture on August
14, 2023.
Hudson has over twenty years of experience and expertise across all human resources
administration and strategic planning. She is motivated by an organization’s mission
and passionate about people and organizational excellence.
She previously served as the director of Human Resources and Title IX Coordinator
and Investigator for Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. Hudson was
appointed the director of Employee Relations and served as the director of Employee
Recruitment Services for the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
Currently, Hudson runs a human resources consultancy serving faith-based organizations,
non-profits, and small businesses. She also is a licensed private investigator specializing
in complex workplace investigations. Before working in human resources, Hudson was
an internal auditor and financial aid administrator at technical and vocational colleges
for a decade.
Hudson earned an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Executive Programs and her undergraduate
degree from Woodbury University. She has achieved the designation of SHRM-SCP (Society
for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional).
