Telehealth, food boxes available to students in need
By Diana Fedinec
Southwest’s Department of Counseling and Social Services has widened its network of community resources to include two new partnerships that will provide currently enrolled Southwest students with telehealth and food assistance. Students will be able to receive additional counseling services through Wellvia Solutions’ telehealth program and food boxes from the Neighborhood Christian Center.
“We are here to help students through challenging times and connect them with the vital resources they need to succeed at college and in life,” Southwest Mental Health Counselor Kim Weddington said.
Students can learn more about this assistance by visiting the Counseling and Social Services webpage, contacting Kimberly Weddington at kweddington@southwest.tn.edu and by reviewing the information below.
