Southwest staff welcomes 57 new members to The National Society of Leadership and
Success during an induction ceremony Dec. 1, 2022.
Congratulations to the 57 newest members of the Southwest chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
Director of Student Development Phoenix Worthy, and Associate Dean for the Center of Emphasis Member Matthew Lexow, welcomed the newest inductees and their families during a special ceremony at the Union Avenue Campus on Dec. 1, 2022.
“It is a great honor and privilege to stand before you and your families today,” Worthy said. “Each of you has dedicated the necessary time to be a part of an organization that has made you a leader through the NSLS foundational keys of personal growth, career success and in making an impact in your communities. You all deserve a round of applause for staying the course and becoming NSLS members.”
Lexow, who received an Honorary NSLS Member distinction during the ceremony, also commended the members on becoming inductees of the illustrious organization that will continue to be with them as they grow their leadership potential and inspire other students to be leaders in their communities.
Kudos to Lisa Griffin, Account Clerk 3 at Southwest, who received the Excellence in Service to Students award for providing students at the College with exceptional customer service.
Students interested in joining the chapter should contact Worthy or call 901-333-4178.
