Employees preview a reimagined student experience at College’s Gallery Walk

By Chris Caldwell Southwest President Dr. Tracy D. Hall welcomed faculty and staff to the Reimagining the Student Experience Gallery Walk March 7, 2023 at the Bert Bornblum Library. Southwest previewed a reimagined student experience at the College’s second Gallery Walk on March 7, 2023, at the Macon Cove Campus Bert Bornblum Library. Faculty and staff were invited to attend the event and give feedback on new student-centered process maps developed by several departments. The maps align with the College’s Focus 2025 Strategic Plan and span the student journey from recruitment to entry to completion and transition. They are an extension of the 2016 College’s Achieving the Dream work to Redesign, Reinvent and Reset the Student Experience, which produced the college’s first gallery walk of process maps in 2018. Stay tuned for more news on how the process maps will guide the College toward a more efficient and shared vision of student success.
